California Rep. Maxine Waters doesn't mince words.

Tell us how you really feel, Maxine…

Rep. Maxine Waters is quickly emerging as the Malcolm X to President Obama’s MLK, when it comes to issues facing African-Americans. Sure, she and the other CBC members have been presiding over districts with high unemployment for some time, but it appears they’ve reached their breaking point, between the CBC’s minimal influence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the tough recession, and especially, the tea party, who Rep. Waters said during the Atlanta CBC jobs town hall that black voters should emulate in terms of speaking up and demanding attention from Washington. But that doesn’t mean she’s a fan.

Here’s what the representative had to say at an Inglewood town hall on Saturday, via TheGrio:

With California’s jobless rate now 12 percent, the second-highest rate of unemployment in the nation after Nevada, talk about jobs, the economy and the partisan squabbling in Congress dominated the “Kitchen Table Summit.”

“I’m not afraid of anybody,” Waters told the crowd. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go straight to hell.”

Watch:

Well, I guess we now know how the lady feels.
